Who performs the 1/M during approach to crit? Operators or REs?
REs
Are the RE's an integral member of the team or in an oversite role (review ECCs and 1/M's)?
Integral member of team
Who performs the ECC (ECP), RE or the STA or the SRO?
By procedure, any Qualified RE or Licensed Operator. In practicality, REs.
Who reviews the ECC, (ECP), RE or the STA or the SRO?
RE reviews
How many people HAVE to review the ECC?
In addition to performer and reviewer, SRO approves
Does Ops assign a reactivity management SRO to major reactivity changes (SU, maneuver up and down, 75% and back to 100%????
Typically, yes Are all Rx start ups IPTE's (Infrequently Performed Test or Evolutions)?
Yes
How many plants have pre-developed reactivity plans (ReMA's) in the control room for rapid downpowers?
Turbine Runback to ~60% at 25%/min Fast Ramp to ~64% at 100%/hr Ramp Offline at 25%/hr Ramp Offline at 15%/hr Generic Ramp down to any power level down to 25% at a rate of 15%/hr to 25%/hr and a hold at reduced power anywhere from 4 hrs to 12 hrs and a subsequent ramp back to full power (This is a host of curves for rod position, boration, and dilution amounts) (Special ReMA's depending on pending activities) How often are they updated?
~monthly (~100 ppm change in RCS boron concentration)
Are recurring work orders "flagged" electronically to alert the operators to evolutions that may impact reactivity management?
Yes
Does RE and Ops meet after RM evolutions for a post job critique?
No, but Ops is supposed to perform an internal post job critique. Then REs prepare a written critique which is posted.
If so, for all power maneuvers, only major ones (i.e. 0-100%)???
For all power maneuver that I have time for. (In other words, if I am not too busy, I would prepare a critique for all ramps. I have missed a several.)

Reactor Engineers
I have a major Integration effort coming up for Dominion in regard to reactivity management.
Some general questions on Common Standards that we all use. Please let me know what folks do for the following
Who performs the 1/M during approach to crit? Operators or REs? Are the RE's an integral member of the team or in an oversite role (review ECCs and 1/M's)? Who performs the ECC (ECP), RE or the STA or the SRO? Who reviews the ECC, (ECP), RE or the STA or the SRO? How many people HAVE to review the ECC? Thanks in advance for your help in this regard. I will gladly share all info with you once I compile it.
