ANO-1 has non-trippable axial power shaping rods.

Fort Calhoun normally dilutes to within 100 ppm of ECC boron, then
withdraws Shutdown Banks A & B, dilutes the remaining 100 ppm to ECC
boron, withdraws the non-trippable rods, and then withdraws the Reg
Rods.

RE Supervisors,
Does your plant normally start up (non RFO) by withdrawing shutdown
banks first, then diluting the RCS to the estimated critical rod
position (Cb) then withdrawing control rods to critical?
