Afternoon,
Fort Calhoun Station
is replacing its S/Gs, Pressurizer, Reactor Head, etc... during the Fall 06
Outage.
Even though we've
hammered out most of the hard details, we are still having some difficulties
with some low-hanging fruit.
One of these is
locating 30 yr old basis information for the boration/dilution equations used on
the plant computer. There are some constants used in the equation
that are tied to volume yet we can't generate a good basis for the values.
As a result, we are probably going to generate our own equations with supporting
basis documentation.
If you would please supply us with any of your calcs and basis
information, we would like to compare them and generate our equations using a
standard methodology if one even exists...
Any input in this
area would be appreciated...
Thanks,
Matt Pohl
