Fermi 2 is a BWR, our T.S. only require an SRO for core alterations, therefore all moves in the SFP do not require an SRO. Typically an SNE or another member of the plant staff that has completed verifier training and the bridge driver perform fuel moves in the SFP. This includes moving LPRMs, control rod blades etc. SRO's only required during core on-load, core off-load and core shuffles. Also for moving core components such as LPRMs and control rod drives.

Subject: FHS SRO Responsibilities
Question for all PWR plants:
It should be standard that a (Fuel Handling Supervisor) FHS/SRO is incharge and oversees all nuclear fuel movements in the Spent Fuel Pool (SFP).
Two questions:
1. Do you require your FHS/SRO to oversee "Insert Shuffels" in the SFP during the outage?
2. Do you require your FHS/SRO to oversee all movements of equipment in the SFP, such as:
- Debris/Trash baskets YES or NO
- TOP Nozzel Baskets YES or NO
- Dummy assemblies YES or NO
- WABAs YES or NO
- BPRAs YES or NO
- RCCAs YES or NO
- Olds Fission Chambers YES or NO
- Old filters from a vacuum / Tri-Nuk YES or NO
- Casks for fuel shipments YES or NO
- Casks for other shipments YES or NO
- Hicks for radWaste Shipments YES or NO
- Others YES or NO
